Central Productions proudly presents the Boston Cinema Census (BCC) - an annual survey of the most interesting and
innovative works created by local film and video makers.
The survey spans the interests of narrative,
documentary and experimental film. This annual
screening event is hosted by the historic Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, MA.
ABOUT THE BOSTON CINEMA CENSUS
For years
the BCC has been the best way for regional filmmakers
to connect with a local audience. Throughout its history the BCC has
proven a key launching pad for New England region productions. Past BCC
films have gone on to have very strong festival runs, moving next to
festivals such as the New York Film Festival, SXSW and the Tribeca Film
Festival.
Directors of all selected works are invited (and encouraged) to attend
the event and be part of a Q & A session with the audience.
