"COMMODORE OF CRASH"
by
Andrew Mudge and Brad Wheelwright

Life changes for 17 year old Lonnie Stumple when his mother kills the beloved town minister in a drunk driving accident.  Lonnie sets out to revive a legendary demolition derby in an effort to heal the community, as well as solve the mystery surrounding a prize winning derby car that may have belonged to his vanished father.

READING FOLLOWED BY WORKSHOP DISCUSSION

The Screenwriters' Salon is an informal script reading and forum designed to help filmmakers in the process of crafting a great screenplay. Essentially a development vehicle, we offer screenwriters a venue to workshop their work: to hear their scripts read by actors and to get audience feedback from the discussion that follows.

Boston Cinema Census 8 - Screening This Friday!!

Bcc4blog
BOSTON CINEMA CENSUS - FRIDAY NIGHT!

Where: Friday, March 6, 2009 - 7:30pm
Where: Brattle Theatre - Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA

Central Productions proudly presents the Boston Cinema Census (BCC) - an annual survey of the most interesting and innovative works created by local film and video makers.
The survey spans the interests of narrative, documentary and experimental film. This annual screening event is hosted by the historic Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, MA.

ABOUT THE BOSTON CINEMA CENSUS
For years the BCC has been the best way for regional filmmakers to connect with a local audience. Throughout its history the BCC has proven a key launching pad for New England region productions. Past BCC films have gone on to have very strong festival runs, moving next to festivals such as the New York Film Festival, SXSW and the Tribeca Film Festival. Directors of all selected works are invited (and encouraged) to attend the event and be part of a Q & A session with the audience.

Aerodynamics Fundraiser :: Oct. 9th - see you there!!

AerodynamicsFundraiserFlyer

Join us on Thursday, October 9th for a completion fundraising event for director Theodore Cormey’s latest film, “AERODYNAMICS!”

The event runs 6:30-10PM at Rumor nightclub, at 100 Warrenton Street in Boston’s Theatre
District. Guests can sample hors d’oeuvres, enjoy a cash bar, hear live music by local musicians
Ad Frank, Sarah Rabdau, and Annette Farrington, plus win raffle prizes. Tickets can be
purchased at the door for $12 or RSVP @ tcormey@lostjockeyprods.com for $10. All monies
raised will help offset final editing costs plus finance the film’s entry at upcoming film festivals.

A puppet fable with a fresh twist, “AERODYNAMICS” details the eleventh-hour mission of Lil'
Moe, the first African-American ventriloquist dummy in space, and his estranged relationship
with his ex-partner and ventriloquist, Willy Jefferson. The film emulates the black-and-white style
of a vintage sci-fi television show such as The Outer Limits.

“AERODYNAMICS” was written, produced, and directed by Theodore Cormey, a Boston-based
filmmaker who has also directed the shorts “LANDFALL!” (2004) and “PAULIE” (2003). His
1999 feature film, “WHAT I DID WHEN I WAS AWAY”, screened at Park City’s No Dance,
Boston Underground, and Woods Hole as well as several local and national film festivals.
